'Heal The World' Foundation

To heal the world, we must start by healing our children. Being with them connects us to the deep wisdom of life. This simple goodness shines straight from their hearts. As we all know, Michael Jackson is a true humanitarian. He has visited hundreds of orphanages and hospitals all around the world during tours, to help these children, to bring them bags of gifts and just let them be happy and smile. He has done such a lot of charity work throughout his lifetime and was even listed for breaking the world record for the 'Most Charities Supported By A Pop Star.' Michael Jackson has supported many charities, and in 1992 he even started his own children's charity: the 'Heal The World' Foundation.

As Michael Jackson said, the mission of 'Heal The World' is healing. He believes that the world can be healed by helping the children who live in it. The foundation fights for the rights and needs of all children and aims to save and improve their lives. Throughout the years, 'Heal The World' has supported dozens of other children's charities and programs in 20 countries. For instance: Heal the World joined with AmeriCares to ship 47 tons of food, clothing and medical supplies to children of war-torn Sarajevo; partnered with the Gorbachev Foundation (USA) to deliver 60,000 doses of children's vaccines to the Republic of Georgia and has twice assisted the U.K. based Operation Christmas Child to airlift supplies and gifts collected by children in the U.K. to give to children in Bosnia.

'Heal The Kids' Initiative



Michael Jackson launched his global initiative for children, 'Heal The Kids', in the year 2000. He said: "Heal the Kids is about making a difference and trying to help adults and parents realise that it is in our power to change the world that our children live in."
The goal of 'Heal The Kids' is to help developing the relationship between parents and children. It educates parents on the importance of giving their children the love, support and devotion that they so badly need, to stop the cycle of neglect and improve the communication within families. It is also devoted to fostering programmes that help all children gain the love, attention and quality time they need to prosper and flourish.
